Spiritual Insights from Egypt-The power of the great Pyramids
And Letting-Go Ritual
Dawn Kelly will share highlights and great insights about her recent trip to Egypt with the Edgar Cayce group led by
John Van Auken ( director of the A.R.E Cayce Group) ( 30 minute slide show )
Then in the 2 nd half of our ATOM morning, we will make a prayer tie as we set our intentions for the new Year and
do a Letting -go Ritual to allow any thing that has to be cleared to go into the fire pit that will be burning outside! This
will make room in our hearts and minds to clear space for all that no longer serves us.. NEW BEGINNINGS!

THE Letting-Go Ritual

New Year’s is a time to cleanse, renew, and rewire to bring in new patterns. Many spiritual
tradition begin the new year with letting-go rituals in order to make room for the new.
How can you let go of the old? You might clean out your closets and donate clothes that you
no longer wear to charity. It’s common for people give things away at the beginning of the
year. An even more intentional ritual is to take an inventory of the past year. It is suggested
writing down what’s no longer serving you, what you don’t want to bring into the new year.
Then rip up the paper, shred it or even burn it. Rituals talk to our subconscious. The releasing
ritual gives us the message that that part of our life that is over

Speaker Dave Patterson
Topic The Purpose of Service.

A lighthearted autobiographical reflection on the purpose service has had in my life, and an examination of the following questions (with a little Aloha spirit mixed in):

Why do we serve? How do we serve? What hinders our ability to serve? What can we do to clear roadblocks?

Oh, by the way LEGOs will be involved, and there may be a quiz!

Dave is a long time Alaskan (circa 1966) and has spent most of his life in service to his family, his country, and his community. Part of his service was attendance at West Pointwhere the creed of “Duty, Honor, Country” has been a foundation for him.

Dave is also a Partner for FIRST in Alaska, a statewide educational robotics program, as part of a global program, for K-12 students, inspiring students throughout Alaska. He also works with the Foodbank of Alaska as a site manager for the Thanksgiving Blessing project, a food distribution program for families in the community in need at Thanksgiving.

Over the last several years he began his spiritual journey, with the support of his partner in crime – Melinda, to realize a deeper understanding his desire to serve.

Monday Evenings
5:30 – 6:30 PM

Wednesday Evenings
5:30 – 6:30 PM

Saturday Mornings
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM

What is NIA?

“The joy of movement is the secret of fitness.
Watch a child run and jump. Watch how they play. Watch how free their feet are. They know that exercising is not normal but moving is”

– Dobbie Rosas, Co-Founder of NIA

What else?

How is NIA different from other exercises? How does it differ from yoga or Pilates? Is NIA good for people who are struggling with weight management and personal injuries?

NIA is great for the entire family! Because of its low-impact nature, people from all walks of life can enjoy NIA. The most important aspect of NIA is that it is an individual exercise program so teachers expect you to modify the NIA moves to your own style and abilities.

We invite you to come experience NIA for yourself. You may take a NIA class for free by calling us to reserve your free class.

Mind-clearing meditation

Wednesday Night Meditation 7:00 – 8:15 PM

Loving Compassion and Healing Meditation for Our Community and the Planet. Wednesday’s Meditation will focus on getting in touch with our inner healer.

Several members of the community are in need of our love and support. Many traditional energy healing techniques focus on us becoming conduits for the healing energy that flows through us rather than comes from us.

Wednesday’s Meditation will focus on clearing our mind, creating a bond within Community Consciousness, and clearing a path for healing energy.
