NIA – The joy of movement

Wednesday Evenings
5:30 – 6:30 PM

Saturday Mornings
9:00 AM – 10:00 AM

What is NIA?

“The joy of movement is the secret of fitness.
Watch a child run and jump. Watch how they play. Watch how free their feet are. They know that exercising is not normal but moving is”

– Dobbie Rosas, Co-Founder of NIA

What else?

How is NIA different from other exercises? How does it differ from yoga or Pilates? Is NIA good for people who are struggling with weight management and personal injuries?

NIA is great for the entire family! Because of its low-impact nature, people from all walks of life can enjoy NIA. The most important aspect of NIA is that it is an individual exercise program so teachers expect you to modify the NIA moves to your own style and abilities.

We invite you to come experience NIA for yourself. You may take a NIA class for free by calling us to reserve your free class.

Mind-clearing meditation

Every Wednesday Night Meditation 7:00 – 8:15 PM

Loving Compassion and Healing Meditation for Our Community and the Planet. Wednesday’s Meditation will focus on getting in touch with our inner healer.

Several members of the community are in need of our love and support. Many traditional energy healing techniques focus on us becoming conduits for the healing energy that flows through us rather than comes from us.

Wednesday’s Meditation will focus on clearing our mind, creating a bond within Community Consciousness, and clearing a path for healing energy.
